Cultural studies graduate turned artist, Rae discovered her true calling through inspired café doodles. Her creative journey led to Japan in pursuit of Ukiyo-e mastery (though excellent after-work drinks proved an equally illuminating discovery). Now residing in Welly, she's transformed her time here into what might be the world's most vibrant unofficial artist residency.

Rae channels her energy and daily thoughts on paper and fabric. For her, embroidery is like meditation with eyes open, while doodling is mindfulness and self-talk in visual form.
